Weee! partners with Topsort to boost retail media strategy

Topsort has announced a partnership with Weee!, the largest online Asian supermarket in the United States, to enhance Weee!'s retail media infrastructure.

Weee!, which offers a vast array of fresh produce, pantry staples, snacks, and specialty items, has opted to transition from its in-house advertising solution to Topsort's scalable, self-service retail media platform.

The move is intended to meet the growing demands of its expanding business and improve its sellers' experience and revenue.

Lucas Buccianti Franco, Senior Growth Manager at Weee!, expressed the motivation behind seeking a new solution: "We were looking for a solution that would inspire our sellers to invest confidently in our platform. Topsort's high standards, transparency, and powerful technology checked every box, delivering the trust and performance our sellers need."

The new retail media platform by Topsort, which involves low-code dashboards and AI-driven APIs, allows for autobidding and keyword targeting. It enables Weee!'s sellers to efficiently manage their campaigns and reach a wider customer base. This transition to an automated, auction-based advertising model positions brands for growth within Weee!'s marketplace.

The collaboration has already shown promising results. A recent A/B testing phase revealed an impressive 4.8x increase in return on advertising spend (ROAS) for top campaigns, highlighting significant improvements in seller satisfaction and campaign performance.
