PushON Commerce acquires Pixel Kicks to boost digital services
Manchester-based eCommerce agency PushON has established a new parent company, PushON Commerce, and acquired fellow Manchester business Pixel Kicks. The newly formed group aims to strengthen its full-service provision and broaden its presence across digital sectors by integrating the expertise of both agencies.
Group formation
PushON Commerce has been structured to provide a more robust and scalable platform for growth. The group aims to improve its offering in eCommerce, digital marketing, and creative services, and extend its reach into additional client verticals. By partnering with Pixel Kicks, PushON Commerce can now offer a wider range of web development and digital marketing solutions, including specialisation in Shopify and WordPress, as well as content production, photography, and video services.
Service expansion
The integration brings together PushON's background in Adobe Commerce (Magento), SEO, PPC and eCommerce strategy with Pixel Kicks' focus on creative and visual projects. This mix creates a combined service proposition for clients in both B2B and B2C markets looking for a single, consolidated digital marketing partner.
Leadership perspective
"We've known and admired the Pixel Kicks team for years. By combining our eCommerce and technical expertise with their creative and Shopify skills, we're creating a stronger offering for our clients. We see this as a major step in our long-term growth strategy," said Simon Wharton, Founder, PushON.
Growth plans
The group forecasts a 20% rise in turnover in its first year of operation, driven by increased service capacity and the benefits of cross-agency collaboration. PushON Commerce reports it is currently exploring further growth opportunities valued at around GBP £1.5 million. These potential developments target sectoral expansion in construction supply, retail, manufacturing, and professional services, areas where PushON and Pixel Kicks have existing client bases and a track record of delivering projects.
Client continuity
For existing clients, the merger is pitched as a route to continued service, enhanced resilience, and a broader range of solutions under one group, removing the need to work with multiple agencies. New clients, meanwhile, are being offered a comprehensive set of services that include digital strategy, platform selection, website design and build, creative content, marketing, and ongoing optimisation through a single relationship.
"This move represents confidence and investment in the future. For existing clients, it means greater continuity, resilience and more services under one roof. For new clients, it means a trusted partner with even broader expertise," said Wharton.
Team integration
The process of integrating the two agencies is underway. The group states that both teams are working closely to achieve a transition for their client bases. While the agencies will retain their individual identities and specialist skills, their collaboration is intended to deliver broader digital capabilities under a shared structure.
Employee impact
"Becoming part of PushON Commerce creates new opportunities for our team and our clients. It allows us to keep doing the creative and marketing work we love, while contributing to a broader group with the scale and expertise to fuel growth. We're looking forward to contributing to PushON's ambitious growth journey," said Chris Buckley, Founder, Pixel Kicks.
