PPRO, a digital payment platform provider, has confirmed the appointments of two key figures, Eelco Dettingmeijer as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Mariette Ferreira as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), as it prepares for a new era of growth.
Eelco Dettingmeijer, the newly appointed CCO, has over a decade of experience in the payments sector and a diverse career in international sales roles that spans over two decades. He comes from Nuvei, where he spent three years following seven years in commercial leadership roles at Worldpay and a board position at Icepay. Dettingmeijer's future role will involve driving growth in PPRO's key markets in Europe and the US and expanding the company's worldwide merchant network.
On his appointment, Dettingmeijer commented, "PPRO is well-positioned to move up the value chain and has a unique value proposition that empowers growth for both payment companies and direct merchants. Joining PPRO as the new CMO is Mariette Ferreira, who arrives with more than 15 years of B2B marketing experience in her skillset. Having spent ten years within the fintech industry, Ferreira has helped scale companies like payments platform FairFX (now Equals Group) and most recently served as CMO at fintech consultancy 11:FS. As the new CMO for PPRO, she will be responsible for creating a solid marketing strategy to ensure commercial success and advancement of PPRO's position in the market.
Ferreira expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "I am looking forward to taking PPRO to new heights from a marketing perspective. The payments landscape is continuously changing, and PPRO has a fantastic opportunity to enhance its competitive offering and serve customers in new and interesting ways."
