Celonis appoints Rupal Karia as UK & Ireland leader
The global process miner, Celonis, today announced the appointment of Rupal Karia as Leader for the United Kingdom and Ireland (UK&I). With over two decades of experience in achieving both short-term business transformation and long-term organisational success in hyper-growth companies and large multinationals, Mr. Karia is expected to drive the expansion of Celonis across the UK and Ireland.
Celonis has already secured a strong foothold in the UK with a clientele that includes industry giants like AstraZeneca, NHS, Reckitt, and Vodafone, among others. These companies have been able to achieve immediate cash impact, enhanced customer satisfaction, and significant reduction in carbon emissions by optimising their processes through Celonis's platform. As the new leader for UK&I, Karia will work in close cooperation with both existing and new customers and partners in the region, helping them to identify, prioritise, and capture value opportunities hidden within their processes. He aims to drive process excellence and spur digital transformation by leveraging the company's expertise in process knowledge, automation, and AI.
Speaking about the appointment, Philippe Mathieu, Go-to-Market Leader for EMEA at Celonis, said, "I am thrilled that Rupal has joined Celonis to lead our rapidly growing UK&I team. Rupal has played a critical role in expanding hyper-growth businesses throughout both the UK and Ireland. His unrivalled track record of growth, an unwavering focus on delivering customer value, and an inclusive leadership approach will help even more organisations in the region see how their processes actually run — not how they think they run — creating visibility into where value is hiding as well as the ability to capture it."
Rupal Karia shared his excitement in joining Celonis stating, "I am thrilled to join Celonis and look forward to leveraging my prior experience to deliver value and impact for Celonis customers. I am especially excited about the Process Intelligence (PI) Graph, which sits at the heart of the Celonis platform. The PI Graph brings data and knowledge to help companies realise more value at greater speed. It provides the process intelligence that companies need to successfully deploy technologies like automation and AI. I look forward to working with customers to optimise their processes, accelerate growth, develop sustainable businesses, and jump-start their AI journey with Celonis."
Prior to joining Celonis, Karia held leadership roles in UiPath, where he led their Global and Strategic accounts, and Adobe, where he doubled the business of their Strategic Accounts across Europe and Public Sector for the UK in two and a half years. He has been lauded for his positive leadership style, commitment to customer value, and strong business achievements in these roles. In addition to this, Karia's contribution to workplace diversity has also been recognised. He was listed as number 18 in the Financial Times EMpower Minority Executives list (North America and UK), and in the FTs top 100 list for the most influential Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic leaders in technology in 2018.
