Voxelo unveils AI studio turning product videos into 3D
Voxelo has launched a virtual studio for retailers and brands that generates 3D models, augmented reality (AR) assets, and product imagery from a single product video.
The Manchester-based company claims that eCommerce teams can now capture, create, and publish 3D, AR, and AI-generated content in around two hours. Voxelo noted that the system utilises standard capture tools rather than requiring specialist hardware, making high-end digital assets more accessible for mainstream retailers.
Voxelo described its approach as a way to reduce the time and cost associated with 3D and AR production for online retail. The company said it can make content creation up to 30 times faster and 10 times cheaper than traditional production methods.

Single Video Input
Voxelo's proprietary workflow begins with a brief video recording of a product, which the system then transforms into a photorealistic 3D digital twin. According to the company, these assets are designed for versatility, allowing teams to repurpose a single digital model across a variety of marketing and retail formats.
The resulting output provides consumers with interactive 3D views that showcase products from any angle, alongside augmented reality "place-in-space" assets tailored for immersive shopping experiences. Furthermore, Voxelo noted that its studio capabilities extend to producing high-quality eCommerce imagery and AI-generated lifestyle scenes, streamlining the content creation process for brands.
Voxelo built the product around a method it calls User Generated 3D, or UG3D. The company said it released UG3D in 2025. Voxelo said UG3D transforms a short product video into a 3D digital twin using 3D, computer vision and AI technologies.
Target Users
Voxelo positioned the studio for non-technical eCommerce and content teams. The company said it designed the interface and workflow for consistent and repeatable production.
"All of this starts from a single capture," said Vladimir Mulhem, CEO and Co-Founder, Voxelo.ai. "Our belief is simple: better product content builds buyer confidence - and buyer confidence drives conversion."
Voxelo said it built the product with feedback from end users. It also drew a distinction between its approach and common uses of AI for product content.
"We've built Voxelo in lockstep with our end-users, and what's clear is that product content creation remains too hard, too costly and too creatively limited. When eCommerce and content teams lean on AI tools today, confidence in their accuracy can be limited and constrained to 2D. Our approach is different," said Ben McKay, COO and Co-Founder, Voxelo.ai.
Production Workflow
Voxelo said the digital twin acts as a foundation for content creation across formats. It said this reduces reliance on fragmented production pipelines and external specialist teams.
"Voxelo makes it easy to capture a digital twin, removing the friction from diverse product content creation," said McKay. "With a rich understanding of the product from a simple video, Voxelo makes creating new photorealistic 3D, AR and AI-powered product experiences easier than ever before."
Voxelo's CTO said the company focused on reducing complexity for teams that do not work with 3D tools.
"Advanced 3D and content creation shouldn't feel intimidating," said Roman Bromidge, Co-Founder and CTO, Voxelo.ai. "We've focused on making the experience simple, consistent and reliable, so teams can focus on merchandising and storytelling rather than production complexity."
Customers And Support
Voxelo said early customers include Cosatto and British Attire. The company did not disclose contract sizes or usage volumes.
Voxelo said Innovate UK supported its research and development work. It also cited support from Turing Innovation Catalyst, Exchange Accelerator and Venture Forward. Voxelo said it has also received support from GMCA.
Voxelo described itself as a 3D and AI content platform for eCommerce. The company said it has invested in research and development related to 3D and AI content generation for product visuals.
Commercial Terms
Voxelo has announced the release of version 2.0 of its studio, offering 10,000 free credits to new users. The company equates this introductory offer to the creation of ten 3D digital twins, inclusive of augmented reality capabilities. For those looking beyond the free tier, subscription plans are set to start from £50 per month, and the company is currently welcoming sign-ups for its AI content studio beta.
The firm anticipates a surge in adoption as eCommerce teams increasingly seek more efficient methods to generate 3D models, AR assets, and high-quality imagery from a single source capture. By streamlining these traditionally complex processes, Voxelo aims to provide a faster alternative for digital retailers looking to enhance their visual catalogues.
