Trixie partners with 3P Logistics to boost UK market growth

Fri, 21st Nov 2025

Trixie Pet Products has signed a three-year partnership with 3P Logistics to manage its UK fulfilment and logistics. The move is aimed at supporting Trixie's rapid growth ambitions in the UK market and streamlining delivery to customers across wholesale, retail and direct-to-consumer channels.

UK expansion

Trixie, an international supplier of pet food, accessories and care products, is working to extend its reach in the UK. The company supplies more than 6,000 products, covering dogs, cats, smaller animals, birds, reptiles, and garden wildlife. By working with a UK-based logistics partner, Trixie aims to reduce order lead times and shipping costs, and improve reliability within its distribution network.

Fulfilment strategy

The company demands high standards for cleanliness, safety, and handling, especially regarding pet food items. Goods will be processed and managed within 3P Logistics' modern, Grade A facilities, which are ISO 9001 certified for quality management. All employees are trained to maintain strict safety and quality measures throughout the fulfilment and delivery process.

Technology integration

Trixie's fulfilment operations in the UK will be managed via 3PL Fusion, a proprietary platform developed by 3P Logistics. This system integrates with Trixie's existing order management tools and warehouse operations through a two-way API. It enables real-time tracking, oversight of inventory, and reporting for performance monitoring. The technology is designed to handle complex, multi-channel needs and supports direct integration with picking, packing, and dispatch services.

Omnichannel approach

Trixie will use the partnership to expand its UK omnichannel strategy, coordinating inventory across wholesale, retail partners, and direct sales. The logistics agreement covers inbound handling, storage, order fulfilment, delivery, returns management and customer support. These are fully monitored through Fusion, allowing Trixie and its partners to track activities and delivery status on a continuous basis.

Quality and compliance

Managing stock for a pet brand presents unique challenges, especially with food products, which require strict hygiene controls. 3P Logistics' facilities are maintained to high standards and are suited for the safe, clean storage of compact, hygienically packed items. The logistics provider's commitment to quality is further supported by internationally recognised certifications and a focus on efficiency.

Market growth

By shifting UK operations to a local logistics provider, Trixie anticipates increased resilience in its supply chain, faster fulfilment, and improved reputation for on-time and in-full delivery. The agreement is expected to help the company fulfil its plans for market share growth and customer retention in the UK. The focus on reliability and consistent delivery performance seeks to strengthen Trixie's brand in a competitive sector.

Partnership foundation

Trixie's approach to business is reflected in its expectations from fulfilment partners, prioritising collaboration, professionalism, and continuity of quality. Both companies expect the partnership to underpin Trixie's next stage of development in the UK, as well as sustain high standards in operations and customer service.

"We are truly delighted with the collaborative spirit of our partnership with 3PL. The entire onboarding process was handled swiftly and efficiently, laying a strong foundation for our continued success together," said Theda Tramsen, Supervising Sales Manager UK, Trixie.
