Sync achieves strong 2024 growth & wins four UK frameworks

Today

Manchester-based technology specialist Sync has begun 2025 with four new national framework appointments and reported growth in both professional services revenue and software sales for the previous year.

Sync announced a 17.5% year-on-year increase in professional services revenue alongside a 46.7% growth in software sales in 2024, reflecting wider momentum in its business at the start of the new year.

The company provides technology services to schools, NHS Trusts, and public sector organisations throughout Manchester and across the United Kingdom, supporting digital transformation and procurement efficiency for its clients.

In 2024, Sync also undertook sustainability measures, reporting a 12.24% reduction in single-use plastic packaging within its operations.

Commenting on the recent results, Scott Bordoni, Chief Operations Officer at Sync, said, "We're proud to see such a strong start to 2025, off the back of a hugely successful 2024. Growth like this doesn't happen by accident – it's a reflection of our team's expertise, our customer-first approach, and our long-term partnerships across education, health, and local government."

He added, "The business is scaling – but doing so in a way that remains rooted in our values: sustainable supply and inclusive access to tech".

Sync's national framework achievements at the start of 2025 include participation in the Crown Commercial Service's Back Office Software 2 (RM6285), where the firm is supporting Lot 2: Specialised Software Solutions. This framework, focused on enabling SME-friendly software-as-a-service (SaaS) contracts valued under GBP £5 million, provides the public sector with access to back-office applications.

The company has also secured responsibility for Lot 2 of the ICT Hardware & Peripherals Equipment Framework Agreement, which covers the supply and installation of Apple desktop and laptop solutions, as well as associated hardware and software.

Further, Sync is participating in the Dynamic Purchasing System established by Caerphilly County Borough Council. This initiative, in collaboration with the Welsh Government and all 22 Welsh local authorities, is designed to streamline procurement processes for local authorities and schools in Wales.

The company has also joined the Education Commercial Service Framework provided by the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust. This dynamic purchasing system supports sustainable and ethical technology supply, initially focusing on the North East but available across the wider UK public sector.

Scott Bordoni explained the significance of these appointments, saying, "Framework wins like these are vital. They mean we can offer simplified, compliant procurement routes to thousands of schools, academies and NHS Trusts, helping them innovate with confidence and get more from their technology investment."

Sync, headquartered in Manchester's city centre, continues to build its team and expand its reach, supporting thousands of institutions in education, healthcare, and government to deliver customised technology solutions, training programmes, and ongoing support.
