MicroCare appoints Sean Gallimore as Chief Operating Officer

MicroCare has appointed Sean Gallimore as Chief Operating Officer, expanding the remit of an existing executive team member.

Gallimore will oversee global operations, marketing and strategic initiatives at the Connecticut-based company, which makes specialty cleaning, coating and lubrication products for industrial and technology markets.

He joined MicroCare in 2025 and has since helped advance its growth strategy and improve cross-functional collaboration. The promotion reflects the company's push to strengthen its position in markets including electronics, fibre optics, medical technology, aerospace, defence, precision manufacturing and industrial technology.

Gallimore brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience across advanced manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare and industrial markets. Before joining MicroCare, he held senior roles at Johnson & Johnson, Bayer Healthcare, Medtronic, Smith & Nephew and Philips Healthcare.

Most recently, he served as President of Dynisco, part of Indicor, and Senior Vice President and General Manager at PDI Healthcare, where he led growth and expansion.

Leadership change

Chief Executive Officer Tom Tattersall said the appointment supports the company's broader expansion plans.

Gallimore's experience spans medical devices, healthcare products and industrial manufacturing, aligning with several of MicroCare's end markets. His background in both large multinational groups and smaller operating businesses points to a mix of corporate and hands-on management experience.

Gallimore said MicroCare had built a strong reputation in manufacturing and cleaning applications and highlighted the need for closer internal coordination.
