HIVED rolls out unified electric delivery for UK SMEs

Fri, 6th Mar 2026

Electric parcel delivery firm HIVED has launched HIVED One, a delivery service for small and medium-sized eCommerce businesses in the UK.

The service combines parcel collection with a single tracking platform, using HIVED's own network alongside partner carriers to provide nationwide coverage.

The launch comes as parcel delivery remains a source of friction for many UK businesses. Citizens Advice research found that, over a three-month period, nearly half of businesses faced a problem when sending or receiving parcels. More than 30% lost money as a result, often due to missing goods and customer refunds.

SME logistics

HIVED One aims to address common shipping issues for smaller retailers and brands, including missed collections, multiple carrier relationships, inconsistent contracts, and fragmented shipment information across different portals. It also targets pricing structures that can add extra charges and limit visibility.

Under HIVED One, an SME's UK orders can be collected in a single pickup, with tracking consolidated into one dashboard. The service is positioned as an alternative to managing several delivery providers separately.

The combined setup is designed to give customers clearer delivery-status information and support faster responses to delivery queries, delays, or missing items.

Mathias Krieger, co-founder of HIVED, said the product responds to the operational complexity smaller eCommerce firms face.

"If you're building an eCommerce business, logistics can get complicated quickly. We've built HIVED One to solve that problem for the millions of growing businesses who form the backbone of the British economy. HIVED One simplifies the entire delivery process for our customers. Our system is streamlined to save our customers time, while offering transparent rates and total visibility on their parcels so they can focus on delivering the best service to their own customers. We handle the complexity so our customers can focus on growth."

Customer view

Minor Figures, a drinks brand, is among the early customers cited by HIVED. Lorenzo Delia, the company's Warehouse & Production Manager, said the service reduced internal effort and improved day-to-day warehouse routines.

"HIVED One has significantly simplified our delivery operations. Compared to other carriers, the level of service is noticeably stronger, and we can see the impact directly in customer feedback and that our end customers are happier. The HIVED One dashboard is intuitive and easy for our team to use, and consolidating collections into one daily pickup has made our warehouse operations far more efficient."

HIVED One also comes as logistics companies push to simplify shipping workflows for smaller merchants as eCommerce continues to expand. For many SMEs, delivery performance is closely linked to repeat purchases and customer satisfaction, but shipping operations often rely on a patchwork of suppliers and software tools.

This has created a market for services that offer consolidated carrier access and clearer tracking. In practice, these offerings can reduce manual administration, provide a single source of delivery information, and shorten the time needed to investigate delivery issues.

Growth plans

HIVED has expanded rapidly in recent years. It was ranked seventh in The Sunday Times 100 Tech list for 2026, according to the company.

It has also announced plans to expand into eight new UK cities and towns. The firm has delivered millions of parcels for retail partners including Nespresso, Gousto, and John Lewis, and says it maintains a 99+% on-time attempted rate.

HIVED operates an all-electric fleet and holds B Corp status. It says HIVED One can also reduce emissions linked to SME deliveries by using an electric delivery network for collections and last-mile services where available through its own operations.

HIVED One will be available to SMEs across the UK through a combination of HIVED's delivery coverage and partner carrier networks.
