ERP HEADtoHEAD Birmingham event to showcase 13 systems

Fri, 30th Jan 2026

Lumenia Consulting will run its ERP HEADtoHEAD comparison event in Birmingham in March, with live demonstrations from 13 ERP vendors and two days of talks and panel sessions.

The event will take place at The Eastside Rooms. Lumenia Consulting said it is the 11th year of the format.

Lumenia positions ERP HEADtoHEAD as a structured comparison for organisations planning an ERP upgrade or replacement. The agenda centres on like-for-like demonstrations. Lumenia Consulting said it uses defined business scenarios rather than product overviews.

Live comparisons

Lumenia Consulting said delegates will see 28 live demonstrations across business processes. It listed finance, production, procurement, supply chain management, sales opportunity to quote, sales orders and pricing, project-based operations, and business intelligence and analytics.

The vendor line-up includes gold sponsors Sage, TEKenable, Infor and IFS. Lumenia Consulting also listed Infor, Mysoft and Sage as participants in vendor showcase sessions on the second day.

Lumenia Consulting said the event is fully subscribed from a sponsorship perspective. It reported five gold sponsors, nine silver ERP vendor sponsors and six bronze sponsors. It said the bronze sponsors cover solution providers that complement ERP products.

The company said the schedule includes networking breaks and an evening drinks reception. It said attendees can meet peers, vendors and industry experts during these sessions.

Keynotes and panels

The event will include independent keynote presentations from ERP experts, according to Lumenia Consulting. The company said the keynotes will cover ERP readiness and digital transformation.

It also set out two panel discussions. The first will focus on how AI is transforming the ERP industry. The second will focus on avoiding ERP implementation mistakes.

Lumenia Consulting said it targets organisations making ERP decisions. It described ERP projects as complex and high-risk initiatives. It also flagged the cost of delays and the risk of missed objectives when an organisation selects an unsuitable system.

Pricing and access

Lumenia Consulting set ticket pricing from GBP £125 plus VAT. It said the price includes sessions, refreshments, lunch and networking drinks.

The company has run the ERP HEADtoHEAD event since 2010, according to its event materials. It describes itself as an independent ERP consultancy focused on ERP strategy, selection and implementation.

Ian O'Toole, Managing Partner, Lumenia Consulting, said the event's format gives buyers a chance to compare systems in a consistent setting.

"ERP selection is one of the most critical decisions an organisation can make, and this year's ERP HEADtoHEAD delivers an unparalleled opportunity for ERP buyers to survey the market and learn from experts. Over two days, delegates will see 13 leading ERP systems demonstrated side-by-side, based on real business scenarios. Combined with expert-led sessions, and the chance to network with peers and vendors, this year's event is designed to give decision-makers the insight and confidence they need to succeed," said Ian O'Toole, Managing Partner, Lumenia Consulting.

Lumenia Consulting said it will run vendor showcase sessions on the second day, alongside the scheduled keynote and panel programme.
