Tray.ai acquires Vanti to advance AI knowledge modelling
Tray.ai has acquired Vanti, a company known for its advancements in knowledge modeling technology, enhancing Tray.ai's capability in AI integration systems.
Tray.ai aims to bolster its Merlin Agent Builder through this acquisition by integrating Vanti's knowledge modeling expertise. This development is expected to advance the creation of AI agents that can deeply comprehend business contexts, dynamically organise complex domain knowledge, and adapt to shifting conditions effectively.
Rich Waldron, Co-Founder and CEO of Tray.ai, highlighted the significance of the acquisition. "This acquisition represents a major leap forward in enterprise AI," he stated. "Vanti's knowledge modeling capabilities, combined with our AI-ready iPaaS, bring us closer to AI agents that not only execute tasks but continuously refine their reasoning and decision-making through structured knowledge and real-time data processing. Enterprises can now deploy agents with confidence, knowing they are built for adaptability, security, and long-term performance."
The acquisition serves to address the static nature of existing AI agents that cannot adjust to dynamic business environments or improve continuously. The goal is to make AI agents more responsive to businesses by enabling them to ingest and organise information swiftly and continuously. Gartner has noted, "Autonomic systems are emerging as an important trend as they enable levels of business adaptability, flexibility, and agility that can't be achieved with traditional AI techniques alone."
Smadar David, Co-Founder and CEO of Vanti, mentioned, "How AI agents ingest and organise knowledge determines their success. Our focus has always been on helping AI understand and apply knowledge more effectively. By joining Tray.ai, we are enabling the next evolution of AI agents - ones that can rapidly adapt to business conditions and improve overall performance."
Tray.ai's platform simplifies the process for enterprises to create, manage, and deploy AI agents without sacrificing flexibility and control. These agents can function either as conversational entities or in a proactive asynchronous manner, a crucial step towards developing autonomous enterprises. Clients using Tray.ai to spearhead their agent strategies benefit from autonomic AI capabilities, advanced knowledge utilisation, and faster adaptation to business changes.
An array of applications is possible with adaptive agents, from virtual customer service and IT support, which can manage inquiries and adjust responses based on interaction dynamics, to sales and marketing agents, which can fine-tune strategies by absorbing evolving customer data and campaign results.
With these innovations, Tray.ai is propelling the creation of autonomous AI agents competent enough to manage end-to-end business workflows and adeptly integrate with enterprise systems.
Jalal Iftikhar, Head of Business Technology at Notion, reflected on the benefits, saying, "To build AI agents that really work, you need the right mix of knowledge, guardrails, and tools so they can reason and take action effectively. That's why I'm excited about Tray.ai and Vanti teaming up - it strengthens their ability to ingest and model knowledge, helping us use agents to solve real business challenges."
