SuperDial acquires MajorBoost to enhance voice AI in US

Today

SuperDial has announced the acquisition of MajorBoost to enhance its voice AI capabilities for automating phone calls in the US healthcare sector.

SuperDial, based in San Francisco, is known for its voice AI solutions that assist healthcare organizations by automating outbound phone calls. The acquisition of MajorBoost, a specialist in automating interactions with health insurers' phone systems, is set to bolster SuperDial's service offerings significantly. MajorBoost's technology is designed to navigate phone trees and manage hold times efficiently, complementing SuperDial's existing capabilities.

Sam Schwager, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of SuperDial, commented on the development, "We're extremely excited to welcome MajorBoost to the SuperDial family. This brings us one step closer to our goal of making tedious phone calls a thing of the past for healthcare organizations."

"During our evaluation, we were highly impressed by MajorBoost's ability to encode the nuances required to consistently navigate phone trees and hold times. It's clear that combining our solutions will lead to a better overall experience for our customers."

The acquisition is particularly timely as the healthcare industry increasingly adopts AI for task automation. SuperDial's AI phone agents, now enhanced with MajorBoost's technology, are expected to provide even greater efficiency for healthcare providers who need to manage extensive call operations.

SuperDial's technology is focused on automating the end-to-end process of phone calls, which includes navigating structured menus and interacting with live representatives. For instances where AI cannot complete a call, human intervention is available, allowing for continuous improvement of AI operations through data feedback.

Since its inception, SuperDial has aimed to streamline the revenue cycle management (RCM) process for healthcare providers, which is critical in billing and collecting payments for services. Through this acquisition, SuperDial is set to expand its role in automating various RCM-related tasks including benefits verification, authorization follow-ups, and provider credentialing & enrollment.

Lekshmi Venu, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of MajorBoost, noted, "MajorBoost's AI has saved time and boosted revenues for medical billing, eligibility and credentialing teams who routinely call health insurance companies. With AI to handle the hassles of payer calls, our clients experienced improvements in claims collections and team member satisfaction. Their tasks completed per day increased by up to 45%, an extra two days per week per person. Since founding MajorBoost at the AI2 Incubator, our solid technical team has delivered cutting edge AI ranging from human-in-the-middle to fully automated calls to payers."

"MajorBoost is excited to combine with SuperDial and offer clients a comprehensive suite of voice AI solutions."

Paul Bernard, Chief Product Officer at Vyne Dental, highlighted the impact SuperDial's technology has on healthcare operations, stating, "What sets the SuperDial team apart is the speed of their execution capabilities and their commitment to a deep understanding of healthcare business processes."

"SuperDial frees up revenue cycle personnel to focus on the highest possible problem-solving needs while AI handles critical but highly repetitive work like data gathering."

SuperDial continues to commit to meeting the evolving needs of healthcare organizations as the reliance on automated solutions grows. The company plans to keep investing in AI-driven advancements within the revenue cycle management field and beyond as part of their ongoing strategy to streamline healthcare administration and improve operational efficiencies.
