Stratio BD unveils AI-driven data fabric to transform management
Generative AI data fabric specialist Stratio BD has launched Stratio Generative AI Data Fabric version 4.4, aiming to redefine data management processes by integrating data ecosystems, data fabric, and generative AI into one seamless solution.
This development aligns with predictions by the research and advisory firm Gartner regarding the future trends in data management.
The updated product allows businesses to engage in real-time conversations with their data, facilitating instant access and usage for what the company describes as "true data democratisation".
The advancements in Stratio 4.4 enable users to perform complex data transformation and machine learning (ML) processes using natural language prompts, enhancing the ease of interaction with data systems.
Rodrigo Sepúlveda Schulz, CEO of Stratio BD, highlighted the relevance and significance of their latest offering in the market. "Gartner has long speculated that the future of data management entails the integration of data ecosystems, data fabric, and Gen-AI - and this is what we're now offering our clients with Stratio Generative AI Data Fabric 4.4. Not only is Stratio keeping pace with expert predictions, but we're also setting industry benchmarks for how businesses should manage and leverage their data," he stated.
The new feature, "Talk to Your Data," is particularly noteworthy. It permits business users, data managers, and data scientists to execute complex data queries using conversational prompts. Users can communicate with the system almost as if they were engaging in dialogue with a colleague, enabling follow-up and clarificatory questions. This is facilitated by Stratio's generative AI's advanced contextual understanding.
For instance, once users identify the most popular product in a specific region, they can further inquire, "Why is the product performing better than others in this region?" and expect immediate, context-aware responses. Stratio Gen-AI supports over fifty languages, including major and regional languages and some dialects, boasting an accuracy rate of 95-99%.
Stratio BD's platform aggregates data from multiple sources such as cloud platforms, on-premise databases, and APIs, offering a unified virtual view. This allows users to gather and analyse data from disparate systems seamlessly. Users can also leverage natural language prompts to execute data transformation tasks like removing duplicate records or calculating regional revenue, streamlining processes traditionally managed by complex extract, transform, and load (ETL) systems.
The refined Advanced Analytics Workbench within Stratio 4.4 offers data scientists an environment to build ML and AI models, supporting tasks such as predicting customer churn or recognising suspicious transactions. Additionally, the Enterprise Development Framework provides developers with capabilities for creating AI applications, including customer chatbots and regulatory report generation.
Security measures within Stratio 4.4 ensure that data queries adhere to user authorisation levels, upholding GDPR compliance and preventing unauthorised access to sensitive information. This underscores the emphasis on maintaining stringent data protection protocols.
Stratio BD's innovation follows its recent publication on generative AI, where a vast majority of surveyed executives acknowledged the competitive edge provided by such technologies. They outlined that those not employing generative AI risk missing out on benefits related to automation, idea generation, and operational optimisation.
