Spor Group founders named in BusinessCloud Founder 250

SPOR Group's co-founders have been included in BusinessCloud's Founder 250 list, which recognises entrepreneurs in the UK's technology and innovation sectors.

The Maidenhead-based workplace technology company said the recognition places its founders alongside leaders from companies including Gymshark, Octopus Energy and PerfectTed.

BusinessCloud's annual Founder 250 spans sectors including AI, technology, manufacturing, education, health, fashion and digital. The list highlights founders judged to be making a significant contribution to the UK's innovation economy.

SPOR Group was founded to address what it sees as a persistent problem for large organisations: workplace technology that does not work consistently when needed. The company now supports more than 1,500 meeting rooms across the UK and Europe.

Its work centres on workplace technology in corporate environments, particularly the operation of meeting rooms and related systems. It works with enterprise organisations on long-term performance and accountability rather than limiting its role to audio-visual integration projects.

Chris Gore, Co-Founder of SPOR Group, previously served in the military before moving into business. According to the company, that background has shaped its internal focus on accountability and operational discipline.

Outside the company, Gore hosts the Future Workplace podcast and has written Work Isn't Working, a book examining why workplace technology strategies often fail to deliver business results.
