ProGlove unveils AI tools to cut strain, boost safety

Thu, 15th Jan 2026

ProGlove has introduced two new AI-powered features designed to enhance frontline work, incorporating the ActivityAI analytics tool into its INSIGHT Enhance software and debuting an AI Voice Assistant within its MAI wearable companion.

The company positioned the launch around operational and safety pressures in warehouses and other industrial sites. Employers in these sectors face labour shortages and an ageing workforce. Those trends have increased attention on physical strain, process efficiency and day-to-day productivity.

ProGlove said ActivityAI analyses real-world work activity. The company said it identifies ergonomic risks and inefficiencies. It also flags optimisation opportunities.

Analytics update

ActivityAI sits within INSIGHT Enhance, which forms part of ProGlove's software portfolio. ProGlove described it as an alternative to static process analysis. It said the tool provides a view of how work gets done in practice.

The company said the feature translates motion and task execution into insights for managers. ProGlove said it supports faster, data-driven decisions. It also said it links those decisions to outcomes for frontline teams and business performance.

ProGlove also tied the announcement to what it called "ergonomic debt". The company used the term to describe inefficient movements, unnecessary strain and fragmented workflows. It said those patterns build up in retail, logistics and industrial environments.

Voice interface

The second addition is an AI Voice Assistant embedded into MAI. ProGlove describes MAI as a back-of-the-hand wearable companion intended for workers who move around a site.

ProGlove has stated that its AI voice assistant, integrated into the MAI wearable companion, enables hands-free interaction with industrial systems. The company noted that workers can ask questions, receive guidance, and resolve issues in real time, allowing them to maintain their workflow without compromising ergonomics.

Furthermore, ProGlove claimed the voice assistant reduces interruptions and cognitive load. By providing voice-driven support, the system helps teams stay focused while improving the efficiency of exception handling on the shop floor.

Wider stack

The new features add to ProGlove's set of wearable and software products, which also includes LANA. ProGlove describes LANA as a portable Android computer. The company said LANA supports data-rich workflows and mobile execution. It also said it provides access to enterprise applications.

ProGlove said ActivityAI, INSIGHT Enhance, MAI and LANA form a connected ecosystem that links execution and insight. It said MAI provides hands-free interaction and guidance. It said INSIGHT Enhance supplies analytics on work activity.

The company said customers can adopt the additions without disrupting existing operations. It also framed the features as a way of converting ergonomic improvements into operational outcomes, including productivity and safety measures.

ProGlove, founded in 2014, sells industrial wearable products and associated software. The company said it serves more than 2,000 customers across warehousing, logistics, manufacturing and retail. It listed BMW, DHL, Gap and Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services among its customers.

The company did not disclose pricing or customer rollout details for ActivityAI or the AI Voice Assistant.

"Together, these innovations enable organizations to reduce physical strain, improve productivity, and transform everyday work activity into measurable operational value - without disrupting existing operations," said Stefan Lampa, CEO, ProGlove.
