Packlink, Temu partner to streamline European eCommerce shipping
Packlink has announced a new partnership with Temu to provide shipping solutions to Temu sellers in the UK and across Europe.
The collaboration gives Temu sellers access to Packlink's automated logistics platform, offering tools for discounted shipping rates, automated fulfillment, order tracking, and consolidated invoice management. These features are aimed at helping online merchants streamline their delivery operations and improve the customer experience.
Packlink stated that its logistics capabilities will be extended to a wider group of eCommerce sellers as a result of this partnership. Sellers using the Temu platform can now integrate with Packlink to automate shipping tasks and manage increased order volumes more efficiently.
The combined solution is targeted at helping sellers process more orders quickly by automating workflows, which Packlink claims will enable merchants to scale operations and increase sales.
"We aim to support merchants looking for a streamlined solution to manage their fulfillment logistics and workflows. This collaboration enables us to onboard new Temu sellers onto our platform throughout Europe. Offering an integration that houses all of Packlink's order management features in one place simplifies operations and reduces fragmentation across eCommerce shipping," said Matthew Trattles, Vice President, Packlink & EU Merchant Business.
Temu, which began welcoming European sellers to its platform last year, predicts that a significant share of its sales in the region will originate from local businesses and with local fulfilment in the long term. According to the company, up to 80% of its European sales could eventually come from these businesses.
"Temu is committed to enabling local businesses to expand their reach across Europe and beyond. By working with trusted partners like Packlink, we can better connect European sellers with smart and seamless tools, and continuously enhance the shopping experience for our users," said a Temu spokesperson.
The integration is designed to make fulfillment simpler for Temu sellers operating in major markets, including Spain, France, Italy, Germany, and the UK, by offering a single location for managing their shipping and logistics needs.
By joining forces, Packlink and Temu will provide European eCommerce businesses with access to a consolidated platform, which the companies state will help them to address the challenges of scale and cross-border sales. Sellers are expected to benefit from centralised tools that reduce manual processes and administrative burdens associated with multi-channel fulfillment.
Packlink, with headquarters in Madrid, works with various eCommerce platforms and offers multiple delivery options to merchants of all sizes. The company supports shipping across Europe and internationally. Temu operates in more than 90 markets and connects global consumers with a diverse range of manufacturers, brands, and business partners.
The partnership reflects ongoing efforts by eCommerce platforms and logistics providers to enhance the operational efficiency of merchants, expand cross-border opportunities, and respond to evolving expectations around delivery and fulfillment services in the online retail sector.
