Mon, 5th Aug 2024

MediaVision’s proprietary platform Metis has garnered significant acclaim during this awards season, securing six prestigious digital marketing accolades. Among the honours, Metis received recognition at the Global Agency Awards, the UK Digital Growth Awards, and the European Search Awards. The awards include Best SEO Campaign, Innovative Agency of the Year, Best Use of AI in Digital, Best Use of Data, Innovation Award, and Best Search Software Tool.

The awards highlight MediaVision's robust contributions to SEO growth for prominent e-commerce brands such as New Look, Monsoon and Abbott Lyon. The platform has been particularly noted for its practical application in improving SEO performance. According to the judges, "This is a great all-in-one solution; you showed lovely examples of real-life application and how you can better overall SEO with your platform."

Metis enables daily actionable recommendations, allowing teams to streamline optimisation tasks. Judges observed, "By providing actionable recommendations daily and enabling entire teams to access and act on this data, Metis significantly cuts down the time required for optimisation tasks, showcasing a revolutionary approach to e-commerce SEO."

Further, it was commended for its comprehensive metric range, which addresses common challenges large e-commerce brands face. Judges found, "We found this tool to be remarkably impressive, especially in its ability to address common real-world challenges encountered by large e-commerce brands. The diverse range of metrics offered within the campaign was particularly intriguing."

MediaVision's Metis platform has been designed to enable brands to respond four times faster than competitors to consumer demand. It transitions from the traditional slow monthly SEO cadence to a more efficient weekly cadence. This shift allows for quicker decision-making based on search data. The platform bridges the gap between SEO and other business operations with a suite of products aimed at solving daily issues faced by e-commerce, marketing, and trade teams.

MediaVision CEO Louis Venter expressed pride in the team's accomplishments, stating, "We've won many awards, but the team nailed this year with laser focus to deliver the agency USP, coupled with the Metis team's creativity to build and deliver Accelerate, a new Metis product. I couldn’t be prouder."

Managing Partner Matthew Platts remarked on the competitive nature of the fashion market and MediaVision's response to it. "The fashion market continues to be incredibly competitive, more than any industry we work in. In order to show year-on-year growth, we knew we had to innovate, which is how Metis and products like Accelerate were born, completely changing the way we work and deliver value."

According to Strategy Director, Tasha Antwi, one of Metis’ key benefits is the ability to reallocate resources effectively. "In addition to the 4x faster cadence and the automation Metis offers, one of the biggest benefits of our proposition is that clients can review and reduce their paid search spend, instead diverting it to ATL campaigns that drive brand visibility. This focus on non-brand, recruits new customers and engages new audiences, positively impacting the brand which is key in helping us deliver transformative growth in a tough market."

The Metis platform's contribution to New Look's non-brand SEO growth is significant. Using Metis's innovative suite of products, MediaVision tripled New Look's visibility without needing tech tickets. This achievement marks any major player's most significant non-brand SEO gain within the UK’s e-commerce market.
