Sharp Energy Solutions Europe has launched a new eCommerce platform aimed at marketing its comprehensive solar module portfolio.
The platform will offer customers from the EU, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Norway the ability to place orders online. The online shop is designed to support individuals and businesses in residential, commercial, industrial, and large-scale solar projects by providing powerful and durable panels.
One of the key features of the new eCommerce platform is its 24/7 ordering capability, which offers flexibility and convenience by allowing customers to place orders outside of standard business hours.
This development reduces the time required for order processing as it centralises all order information, including delivery tracking details. Customers benefit from having a complete overview of their orders in one place, eliminating the need to manage details across multiple emails.
The platform also presents several practical features designed to enhance the user experience. These include volume-based pricing for large orders, with delivery costs included, and limited-time price promotions. Users will appreciate a real-time stock availability display and the ability to track shipments, ensuring they can keep informed of their delivery status.
Flexibility in delivery is a further advantage, allowing customers to specify details such as delivery date and lifting requirements. The platform's address management and administrative options are designed for ease of use, enabling companies to update delivery addresses and add additional users as necessary, alongside easily accessing order documentation for company records. Dealers and installers are eligible to place orders once registered as Sharp B2B customers. Currently, the online shop is available in English and German, with plans to introduce additional languages in the future.
