Nutrivend selects Orderwise Cloud to boost online growth
Nutrivend has chosen Forterro's Orderwise Cloud as its enterprise resource planning and warehouse management solution to support its expansion into online sales and increase operational efficiency.
Nutrivend supplies sports nutrition products through vending, wholesale, and distribution agreements with brands across the UK, including Nuffield Health, Bannatyne, Fitness First, PureGym, and Power League.
The company provides various vending options for customers in gyms and sports facilities, and is experiencing rapid growth that has highlighted limitations of its prior business systems.
Nutrivend had been carrying out many internal processes manually, resulting in limited stock visibility and inefficient warehouse operations. The previous system offered limited warehouse management tools, increasing the time required to fulfil customer orders.
Scott Morgan, Managing Director at Nutrivend, outlined the anticipated benefits of the new system, saying, "Orderwise Cloud gives us real-time visibility across the entire business, which means smarter purchasing decisions, tighter stock control, and the ability to batch-pick and process more orders without adding extra labour costs. It's a big step forward that supports our ambitions to grow order volumes, particularly via our online channels, and to cement our position as the UK's leading sports nutrition solutions provider."
Orderwise Cloud's integration with Nutrivend's e-commerce platforms is expected to eliminate the need for manual order rekeying. This is projected to ease the sales team's workload and reduce the chances of errors associated with manual data entry. The solution's enhanced stock visibility is also expected to lower the incidence of unknown stock loss.
The Orderwise Cloud solution, used by midmarket wholesalers and distributors, connects business processes and optimises stock management via infrastructure powered by Amazon Web Services. The platform is designed to enable secure and scalable access from any location while removing the need for on-site server management.

Nutrivend has also subscribed to Forterro's Flex-Services, an annual option that provides access to a range of professional services to support the implementation and ongoing use of Orderwise Cloud. This is intended to help Nutrivend prepare for future requirements and avoid unexpected costs while maximising the platform's capabilities from the outset.
