HubSpot launches transformative Commerce, Content & Service Hubs in the UK

Fri, 3rd May 2024

HubSpot has announced the launch of its new Commerce Hub, Content Hub, and Service Hub as elements of its Spotlight initiative, fashioned to assist businesses in their ongoing transformation efforts.

These hubs are designed to streamline B2B transactions with integrated payments and invoicing, provide a comprehensive platform for content creation, management and optimisation across multiple channels, and amalgamate customer support and success functions to improve customer service experience. This rollout is in direct response to recent data indicating that UK businesses are extensively reinventing their strategies in line with major global shifts such as evolving customer expectations and the advent of artificial intelligence (AI).

Research by HubSpot reveals that over the past four years, a staggering 70% of UK businesses have changed more than in the previous two decades, with the majority attributing AI as being the catalyst for this shift. An increasing number of businesses are moving from simply meeting customer expectations to delivering customer value. Alongside this, businesses are significantly altering their approach to growth due to generative AI, with processes being streamlined with AI and automation.

Andy Pitre, Executive Vice President of Product at HubSpot explains, "Marketing, sales, and service teams are going through a major shift as technology and customer expectations evolve. Right now, innovation happens in days, not years. It's a huge opportunity for businesses, but keeping up with the pace of innovation can be daunting. That's why we've launched Spotlight: to make it easy for our customers to take advantage of everything that HubSpot has built for their reinvention."

The Content Hub, powered by AI tools, allows businesses to smoothly manage remixed, multi-channel content throughout the customer journey. It aids in generating ideas, to writing content and creating images while providing hosting and distribution for podcasts. This all-in-one marketing solution is invaluable for multiple businesses, with 30% feeling the strain of integrating increasing numbers of channels, all while budgets remain static or decrease.

Customer experience (CX), retention and personalisation are crucial for growth. HubSpot has responded to this with the launch of the Service Hub. Collating customer support and success functions for the first time, this AI-powered solution is a lone platform for go-to-market teams to perform in, eliminating the need for multiple separate tools. Catriona Hay, Head of Platform Success at Archipro, appreciates its value, affirming, "Service Hub aligned perfectly with our desire to introduce a new support ticketing system to our business.... Service Hub has become a central resource to our business, and our new ticketing system produced savings of nearly half a million dollars per year."

Last but not least, the Commerce Hub is also making its entry in the UK market. Nearly 50% of business leaders in the UK believe B2B commerce tools need better integration with other go-to-market functions. The Commerce Hub will come to the rescue of such businesses, providing much-needed tools for managing invoices, subscriptions, and payment schedules, along with local payment methods and multicurrency capabilities through a partnership with Stripe. This line-up of innovative solutions is geared to help businesses navigate the twin demands of technological disruption and customers' mobility across multiple channels, and drive growth in the process.
