Geoficiency appoints Olivier Cornet to lead UK expansion plans

Yesterday

Geoficiency has appointed Olivier Cornet as UK Country Manager to help large organisations adapt to new regulatory standards, including "UK SOX" and the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA).

Olivier Cornet brings more than two decades of experience in the business-to-business software sector and has been based in London since 2014. His career has focused on financial reporting and compliance, with a notable tenure as a member of the management committee at the Invoke Group. During his time at Invoke, Cornet was responsible for establishing and developing international operations in the UK, Nordic countries, and the Iberian Peninsula. He also worked with major organisations, advising them on digital transitions and regulatory preparedness in alignment with regional requirements.

Speaking on his appointment, Olivier Cornet said: "I am honoured to be joining geoficiency at a key moment in its development. Our ambition is to consolidate our presence in the UK by offering a reliable solution that is quick to deploy and fully adapted to the challenges of accounting control and investigation. The current regulatory framework reflects a global trend towards greater transparency and automation - a trend that geoficiency is meeting with a robust and proven technology."

The move is part of geoficiency's broader strategy to expand across major European markets and to support its international clients navigating increasingly complex regulatory environments. The company's expansion effort in the UK will see it working with organisations looking to enhance their accounting controls in light of new compliance obligations.

Jean-Marc Allouët, Chief Executive Officer at geoficiency, commented on the expansion: "The opening of our London office, supported by a profile like Olivier's, marks a key step in our growth trajectory. Already present in more than 70 countries, our solution meets increasingly cross-functional compliance requirements. By investing in the UK, we are affirming our ambition to become the benchmark partner for European finance departments."

Geoficiency provides a software-as-a-service platform for automating accounting and financial controls while detecting risks and errors. The platform's technology, based on proprietary artificial intelligence, is designed to deliver reliable processes and facilitate the comparison of inter-company practices. Geoficiency claims its software enables organisations to proactively manage compliance, regardless of ERP environment, location, or regulatory framework.

The appointment of Olivier Cornet and the opening of a London office aim to reinforce geoficiency's position among the European finance community and support its stated ambition to assist large corporations in meeting evolving compliance standards, such as those introduced under "UK SOX" and ECCTA.

Geoficiency's client portfolio includes companies such as Saint-Gobain, Edenred, SPIE, Roquette, SNCF, and Elior, reflecting its reach in the management of compliance and financial control for multinational enterprises.
