Ecommpay named finalist in two categories at London FinTech awards
Ecommpay has been shortlisted in two categories at the FinTech Awards London.
The global payments platform has been named a finalist for both the Best FinTech Collaboration of the Year and PayTech Company of the Year categories. These awards recognise the achievements of FinTech professionals and companies contributing significantly to the sector in London.
Together with The Money Platform (TMP), Ecommpay has reached the finalist stage for Best FinTech Collaboration of the Year. The nomination reflects the companies' work on creating a payment solution to facilitate TMP's regulated transactions, aiming to ensure that payments are timely, accurate, and executed on demand.
Ecommpay's recognition in the PayTech Company of the Year category acknowledges its role in the payments technology industry. The nomination particularly highlights the company's approach to developing its payment services and its overall impact within the sector.
Willem Wellinghoff, Chief Compliance Officer and UK Chair at Ecommpay, commented on the announcement. "It is an honour to be shortlisted in not one, but two categories at the FinTech Awards London," he said. "These nominations are a testament to our team's hard work, dedication, and commitment to driving innovation in the FinTech industry. We are particularly proud of our collaboration with TMP, which has enabled TMP to take important strides towards independent FCA Regulated Status."
The FinTech Awards London celebrate companies and individuals making a marked difference in the financial technology arena in the capital. The outcomes of these two categories, for which Ecommpay and TMP are nominated, will be announced later in June.
