Rithum reshapes leadership with new CRO and CFO appointments

Thu, 22nd Jan 2026

Rithum has appointed Gregory Banning as Chief Revenue Officer and promoted Caitlin Hauser to Chief Financial Officer, as the commerce software group moves to restructure its senior leadership team.

The company stated that these changes bolster its expertise in sales leadership and finance as it focuses on scaling operations internationally. Rithum specialises in software that enables brands and retailers to manage product listings, order processing, and various other eCommerce functions.

Revenue leadership

Banning will lead Rithum's global sales organisation in the Chief Revenue Officer role. The company said his remit covers sales execution and partner relationships across its commerce network.

Banning has held leadership roles at Adobe, Capital One, Amazon, SAP Concur, TD SYNNEX and HNI. He most recently served as Vice President of Sales and Channels at Service Express, which the company described as a USD $400 million IT managed services business.

Rithum said Banning has more than 20 years of experience leading sales organisations across large companies and private-equity-backed businesses. It pointed to experience across software, technology, financial technology, retail, distribution and manufacturing.

"Rithum sits at the centre of a transformative moment in commerce, and I'm excited to join the company and help scale its revenue engine alongside a talented leadership team," said Banning, CRO of Rithum.

"With such a strong foundation already in place, I look forward to working across our teams to deepen customer value and lead an organisation grounded in operational rigour and measurable impact."

Finance promotion

Hauser has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer from her previous role as Senior Vice President of Finance & Global Controller. Rithum said she will lead its global finance organisation and work across the business on strategic priorities.

The company said Hauser has more than two decades of experience in finance and accounting roles at private-equity-backed and public companies. It also described her background in operational and financial discipline.

"I'm thrilled to step into this role at such an exciting time for Rithum," said Hauser, now CFO at Rithum.

"As we continue expanding our impact and scaling globally, I'm focused on strengthening financial discipline and enabling informed decision-making to power our next phase of growth - all while contributing to a culture grounded in inclusion and progress."

Business backdrop

Rithum operates in the commerce software market, where brands and retailers rely on third parties for integrations across marketplaces, retail partners and media channels. The company trades under the Rithum name following the combination of CommerceHub and ChannelAdvisor.

Rithum said its software covers the "entire commerce journey-from product listing and discovery to order fulfilment and performance optimisation". It also said it uses automation and data tools across commerce and media channels.

The company listed customers including Adidas, Best Buy, B&Q, Draper Tools, The Home Depot and Zalando. It said it has teams based in the US, UK, Ireland, Spain and Australia.

The appointments place a new executive in charge of revenue operations and a newly promoted leader over finance at a time when many software companies have placed greater emphasis on sales efficiency and tighter financial management. Rithum did not disclose financial details alongside the appointments.

"With such a strong foundation already in place, I look forward to working across our teams to deepen customer value and lead an organisation grounded in operational rigour and measurable impact."
